New York City came alive. We all wore masks and danced in the streets.
We hugged and cried and cheered.

We stayed inside but we never gave up the fight.
Today, we won. Love Trumps hate. Every single time.
An orange glow lit up the New York City skyline as the sun set.
I’ve never seen the city glow like that before.
The orange monster is fading away. Drifting into the sky. We are finally free.
New York City is still New York Fucking City.
